A male age 34 (unmarried)
Having fever and extreme body pain since 4th Jun. We did CBC on 5th june and the platelet count was low. The 2nd CBC was done on 6th Juen and platelets were 107, 3rd CBC was done today and platelets count is 70. Dengue antigen was also done today, and it came NEGATIVE. hospital is not admitting him until the platelets drop to 40 however the condition is worse, and platelets are dropping rapidly.
What could be the reason, or what tests should be done.

You may get Dengue serology. And if you are from Karachi, you may get him admitted in OMI hospital saddar campus under my care if he is unwell. Otherwise monitor platelets and watch for bleeding and no Intramuscular injection or tooth brushing
