Asking For Mother, Female 53, Lahore
My mother is on multiple blood thinners and has a history of uncontrolled high blood pressure. She is currently experiencing confusion, poor memory, speech issues, severe pain and weakness in her arms and legs, arm numbness in her right arm, muscle wasting, facial swelling, new strange swellings on her forehead (she describes it as "Khoon jama hua hai"), bruising across her body, and vision changes (describes it as watery). We are extremely concerned about the possibility of internal bleeding or neurological events such as a stroke or brain bleed. Please evaluate urgently. Her father and older brother both passed away around the same age due to heart attacks.
This has been going on for several years and progressively getting worse every year.
She refuses to go see a doctor but I want some indication as to what might be going on with her so I can convince her better because it seems very urgent to me.
you should take her to hospital immediately INR should be checked immediately also a detailed history examination is required to plann further investigations blood pressure should be kept under control as she is on blood thinning medication it further increases the risk of bleeding specialy bleeding into brain, we are more concerned about
Please take her to hospital. She needs to be seen.
Needs CT head and clotting profile.
After these done discuss management in online consultation.
