Talk to Liver on Liver Cancer

My MIL diagnosed hepatitis C ten years ago . She was fine with medication of hcv n BP . On 5 th march she is diagnosed with liver cancer stage 4, it has spread till bones chest etc . Kindly suggest me , at this chronicle stage of HCV , is it contagious. If yes , what kind of measures we should take in home to stay safe as we have to look after her as well ,.

forget hcv at this stage just consider for cancer
