my father had a small operation to insert a pigtail tube to drain the lungs, but last night suddenly it came out automatically, we covered that area with gauze and striking, but what should we do? is it alarming or can create any harm?
Visit the doctor that passed the pigtail drain . Needs to be checked for iatrogenic pneumothorax or need of replacement.
