Cancer develops in the lungs is known as lungs cancer. When someone inhales they take oxygen and release carbon dioxide all process of the breathing done by the spongy organs in the body called as lungs. In united states, the leading cause of the lungs in the men and women is lung cancer. Every year people die more due to lung cancer than prostate, ovarian and breast cancer. The people who smoke are more prone to lung cancer than other people. The chances of the lung cancer are directly associated with the number of cigarettes someone consumed a day. If someone quit smoking after many years someone can reduce the chances of lung cancer. Passive exposure to cigarette smoke also contributes to cancer. Lung cancer may be of two types; small cell carcinoma and nonsmall cell carcinoma. According to the severity of disease, is classified into four stages. It mostly not diagnosed early as it manifested respiratory problems like symptoms like shortness of breath, coughing, and fever. But if diagnosed properly it can treat with chemotherapy, radiotherapy or surgical excision.
