Talk to Nephrologist on Kidney Pain

Dear Dr. Today in the morning as I woke up and went to washroom I felt severe pain on left lower back below ribs which goes all the way to Groin area which lasted for an hour (picture for pain area is attached). I have history of kidney stone in right kidney but after treatment I was fine. Last week I had same pain which lasted for 15-20 mins but today it lasted for an hour and I could not go to Dr. because I have not bought health insurance yet since I have arrived here in Barcelona two weeks ago. Kindly prescribe me such medicine which I can buy Over The Counter till I get my insurance and see a doctor for proper treatment here. Thanks

You can take Tab Nospa 3 times a day with tab buscopan or buscopan plus once at night if u can get them as a over the counter medication. And if u will only get buscopan (and no tab Nospa) then use it twice a with any cran berry extract sachets.

As i dont think u could get anything else there as an over the counter medicine.
Just buy some OTC Ibuprofen 200 mg and take 2 tablets three times day as needed. Also take some omeprazole or Zantac daily with it. If you can get an ultrasound it will help. Drink plenty of water and decrease salt and protein intake.
