Hi,
I am a software engineer and my job requires me to work 9 hours a day, sitting in front of desk.
In September, I started experiencing pain in my left shoulder blade. It intensified with every passing day. During September, 1 worked long hours (10-12) a day for a deadline. I believe that was the stress factor that caused this pain.
It's been 5 months, I have tried different doctors; neurologist, rehumitologist , spine surgery, Orthopedics, muscles and bone specialist, physio therapist. I did 2 MRIs too: Cervical Spine and Thoracic spine. The results came clear.
Different doctors recommend different treatments: Pain killers, muscle relaxants, Multi Vitamins Stretches, Exercises and what not. My physio doctor did dry needling last week but the pain persists and it gets worse when I sit at my desk job for more than 4 hours even...

Hi,
No history of shingles.
This pain is related to long sitting hours. Gets worse when I sit in bad posture, if I bend my neck forward, in slouching position.
