Talk to Pediatric Gastroenterologist on 1.5-Year-Old Passing Small Hard Stools Many Times A Day

Age: 1.5 years

My 1.5-year-old daughter used to poop once every morning and empty her stomach completely.

For the last few days, her routine has changed. She is passing small, hard balls of stool many times a day. Every 1–2 hours, a little hard stool comes out in her diaper, so I have to change her diaper again and again.

She looks like she is trying to poop but cannot empty her bowels in one time. She does not have loose motions or diarrhea. The stool is hard and dry.

Please suggest what medicine or treatment is safe for her so she can go back to her normal routine of passing stool once every morning. Thank you.
