Hello doctors My son will turn 10 this November, but he still wets the bed almost every night. He is an extremely deep sleeper. Even if we wake him up or take him to the bathroom, he doesn't fully wake up and usually doesn't remember anything the next morning. Bedwetting seems to run on his father's side of the family. His cousins (his paternal aunt's children) also wet the bed—one is 18 and another is 13. However, my younger son never had this issue and stopped bedwetting by the age of 3. Has anyone experienced something similar? What tests should I get done, and which specialist should I consult? Any advice or personal experience would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

He needs to be on fluid restrictions 2 to 3 hours before to sleep and need to wake him up after 3 hours of sleep. If this doesnt help then will need to evaluate further with ultrasound and might need to start him off on some medication for sometime
