person-avatar

Self, Karachi

Doctor I am 30year old female. I have allergic asthma since 10 years, which vanished after the birth of my second child for two years now again its back. I was nebulizing with Atem 1ml and ventolin 0.5ml with 1.5ml normal saline. It stays good for 2 hours max and then again I have wheezing and breathlessness. Can you pls suggest me some other med with dosage for nebulization (clenil or sth) Jazakillah khair

You need to take regular asthma medication.
Start with inhaler Fortide 200/6,one puff twice daily and one puff SOS.Dont forget to learn inhaler technique. Also rinse mouth after inhaler use.
Also take tab Montika 10mg,one tablet at bedtime.

This kind of cases should be specifically investigated . And than treatment should be suggested. I would advise you to visit a pulmonologist for better results

double check the below things and your foods which you are taking daily.

Allergy from some triggers, such as chemicals, bird feathers, animal fur, pollen, dust, certain foods or liquids or preservatives.

Viral inflammation of the respiratory system.

Certain medications can trigger asthma: aspirin and other non-steroid anti-inflammatory drugs.

Extreme Emotional arousal such as anger or fear.

Harsh physical exercise.

Hormonal changes, like the menstrual cycle of some women.

or medical history of asthma in family.

use ventoline inhaler as per your doctor instruction.
use Montelukast
tab daily night before sleep.
