Asking For Self, Male 57, Attock City
Dear Dr. I suffer from bronchitis, asthma and runny nose, severe sneezing with cough due to mucus, obstruction of breathing, I am diabetic and am using Ghlucophage XR, 750 mg, Velosef 500mg. In addition, I am using Combivair medicine (budesonide + Formoterol fumarate 400mcg + 6mcg) in Rotahaller for breathing medicine and I am also using Telfast Tablet 120mg but I have not found satisfactory relief yet. In addition, I am taking precautions such as using warm water, green tea with lemons and masks to protect the health from the damage of polluted environment. Please suggest the right medicine according to my illness. Thanks & Regards, Zaheer Ahmed zaheersafety@gmail.com 03412669321

Your case should be properly investigated velosef should only be taken for a limited period. I would suggest you should consult a pulmonologist for proper investigation and management. Chest condition of diabetic pt is tricky to treat .
