Talk to Pulmonologist / Lung on Congenital Pulmonary Airway Malformation (CPAM)

Dear respected sir, my 8 days old daughter is diagnosed with congenital pulmonary airway malformation (CPAM) type 2. According to diagnose through CT scan, there are multiple well defined thin walled cysts involving almost the whole left lung. The largest one is 1.1 cm. However right lung is normal. After birth baby has been on oxygen for six days. However she is on room oxygen since yesterday. Last night she experienced distress breathing and again oxygen was given for 5 hours. In view of this condition doctors are suggesting for major surgery likely to remove whole left lung a. Please give your expert opinion in this regard. Thanks
