Then he is not infective to other.however he has tuberculosis in the pleura of lung and needs a course of antituberculous drugs.

It is 6 months course and if antituberculous drugs are taken daily without break and no othher complications like multidrug resistance tuberculosis or tuberculosis of other organs of body like spinal tuberculosis is present patient is cured.However the patient needs to be examined by a pulmonologist before starting antituberculous drugs and his detailed history is required.He Also needs some other tests like screening for hepatitis
