Talk to Pulmonologist / Lung on Pulmonary Embolism Left Leg

Assalam o mother is facing the problem of pulmonary embolism since December 2021. She remained admitted in RIC Rawalpindi and from January 2022 till now using tablet X-cept 20mg and loprin about 1.5years. now she is again fell pain and her left foot become cool and a little swelling too.. so what you suggest angiography is better option or should use medicine..

Doppler USG of both lower extremities along with continuation of tablet xcept 10mg once daily.once we have this USG report, we'll decide further plan of action accordingly.however if she experiences shortness of breath or her saturation drops,urgent CTPA would be the investigation of choice.

she is using X-cept tablet of 20mg now firstly 10mg then 15mg and now 20mg..
having no breath problem but a little swelling and pain plus foot become cool
