Dear it needs a long answer but to make it simple patient gets infected by coming in contact with patients who have cough and fever from corona by touching surfaces which have cotona virus on them...
It usually turns into pneumonia and causes respiratory distress called ARDS in technical these patients need mechanical ventilation
