Remove Pigtail But Pain Exists

Question

After CABG my mother had Pleural effusion issue. so 3-4 times remove via medicine and tapping but last time in Dec drained via Pigtail from liaquat national hospital. Alhamdulliah pleural effusion issue is resolved but pain exists. wanted to remove this pain. plz guide me how.

pain may persist due to post surgery and effusion inflammatory. needs to sort out further

the pain will continue because multiple times aspiration was done, which causes pleural thickening and fibrosis... on stretching, it will cause pain ... but during the summer season, the threshold of the pain will decrease or completely subsides ...if no shortness of breath from pleural effusion after CABG pleural effusion shouldn't be drained.
