Talk to Pulmonologist / Lung on Short Breath,chestpain,

Asking for Mother, Female, 60 years old, Gulshan e iqbal . Khi

Since last 15 days my mom had a severe chest n jaw pain her bp was 160/140,nearby hosp gave norvasc tab. Than to she was nt getting well so went to Cardio and did her troponin-i test which was nil & chest xray which showed lungs are collapsed. Then her ct scan was done and the report suggested echo and lungs normal. Than we take her for echo. Cant understand that coz the dr said its all ok jus a lil heart valve leak thats not to worry. She had angina 5 years back which was lead by angiography at tabba hosp. Her cholestrol is also done few day back and lil bit hi Tg. My mom not feeling well as she having headache,chestpain,short breath. She is taking medi for hi bp, too. Plz kindly let me knw abt all the reports.

There should be some cause of lung collapse,either it is pneumonia or it us diseaded lungs.If cardiac shadow is enlarged in x ray or ct,echocardiography should be done.Considering past history,ECG is obviously first and urgent investigation.

Her ecg is normal, chest scan is normal too, echo is also same as her history was. Cholestrol lil bit high. What u suggest for her now. Stress test should be done or not. Is there any oxygen issue with her. Coz she is having chest pain , headache, dizziness, feeling low not getting active for daily routine work as always. She is having high bp medi too.

If its pnuemonia, it may be diagnosed in ct scan. But ct scan showed lungs as normal.
