Asking For Someone else, Mother, Female, 69 Years old, F-7/2
My mother is diabetic and she was suffering from shortages of breath sometimes. I have done her ECG and Chest X-ray as per doctor consultation. Now the results are as below and I was wondering to know about which doctor should I go for consultation.
The result of ECG 0.5mm ST segment depression seen in II, III, aVF and V4 to V6.
The result of chest X- ray:
Lung bronchovascular marking are coarse with No exudative parenchymatous lung lesion seen. Cardiac size is enlarged. CTR is 14:26. Bony thorax appears intact.
Looks like she is having a cardiac event which is causing pulmonary edema. Take her to a Emergency and get troponins done. Also she will need diuretic medications. She should be evaluated by a physician early.
consult a Medical specialist. It is better to take her to emergency department of some hospital where all the tests and treatment can be done.
