Asking For Mother, Female 45, swat
Assalamualikum. Dear Doctors, is there any issues in this x-ray? Is the permcath in right position? What about the right and left lungs and ribs?
This Xray shows abnormal shadow at the left lower border . This shadow may be fluid , blood or consolidated lung portion.
This pt must be on dialysis , so there may be many pulmonary complications .
There is also a diffuse shadow on the rt
Lower border
It seems to be at right location. But right side is preferred as it is easy
and there are less complication.Left sided lines take longer course and
require expertise also.So your physician will tell, why he choose left side.
There seems to be left sided pleural effusion(water in chest cavity) and
needs to be tested and drained accordingly. If it is a case of renal failure
then may be normal in these patients but isolated left sided effusions need
to be investigated
