I’m 19 and have had significant lower-back pain for about 1–2 months, mainly on the right/left lower back just above the hips. It’s especially painful when getting up from lying down or standing/walking after waking up. I’ve had a brain MRI and a kidney ultrasound, both reported normal. I don’t have numbness, leg weakness, or bladder/bowel problems. I really want to figure out what’s causing it and get it properly treated. Which specialist would be best for me to see?
