Its been along time i am having high bp my age is just 20 and the reading i am having is 144/86 175/86 its always high sometimes the lower cross 97 i am very upset visited the cardiologist in October he gave me inderal 40 mg just no medicine for bp blood tests and ecg were done also in October everything was normal sometime fells chestpain usually after meals and randomly just suggest me medicine to low my upper and lower bp no family history of heart deceases just suggest me good medicine according to the situation

if you are having high bp at the age of 20 then you should undergo thorough investigation so that the reason of high bp can be diagnosed. first of all get ur echo and ultrasound KUB and doppler ultrasound of both renal arteries. if th3se are normal then there are some blood tests which should be done. if no cause is found then you just start treating ur bp
