Talk to Gynecologist on Low HB And Neutrophilia
Asking for Self Female 28 , Karachi
33 weeks pregnant, recently got CBC test done, shows low HB and hematocrit levels, dr has advised 2 i/v doses of inj venofer. But didn't take any notice of high neutrophils count.
My question: 1. can I cover HB levels thru diet and medicine (fefol vit and FeSO4) alone or is i/v necessary? 2. I have no symptoms of any infection yet neutrophils are high, what to do?

Why is your hb low ? Deworm krain khud ko, take 3 tablet kattress at once , and take heme iron diet meat fish chicken eggs , iberet folic at night with water, get serum ferritin done if its low then you may need iv iron, thalessemia k tests hue hain ?
recent history sore throat,loose stools,any urinary complaints or fever ?

I get anemic generally, and then I take supplements and it gets okay. in pregnancy due to vomiting I have not take supplements regularly even after dr advised FeSO4 I didn\'t take, so now it is quite low and now dr has suggested i/v inj venofer but my more serious concern is the neutrophilia which dr missed I guess
