Asking For Self, Female 26, Balochistan
Dear Doctors,
I have had three previous miscarriages:
One at around 4 months
One after about 40 days
One at around 2 months
Now I am pregnant again and the pregnancy is about 1 month old. Both of us have normal thalassemia screening results, and my blood group is O positive.
I also frequently experience severe headaches, and my blood pressure sometimes goes up to 140.
Please guide me regarding any necessary tests, precautions, or medicines that may help in maintaining this pregnancy.
Thank you.
• Early pregnancy ultrasound for viability and dating
• CBC, blood sugar, thyroid profile
• Antiphospholipid antibody screening
• Screening for diabetes and hypertension
• Progesterone assessment if clinically indicated
• Ultrasound assessment of uterus/cervix if needed. regular BP monitoring is very important during pregnancy. progesterone support or low-dose aspirin.
its better to consult in clinic. complete evaluation should be done
Start tablet Qfolic HR 1 mg once a day , tablet loprin 75 mg twice a day , tablet duphaston 10 mg twice a day , Tablet uterogestan 200 mcg once at night intra vaginal , injection IVF C 5000 iu weekly intramuscular, discuss with your own gynaecologist about injection clexane dose acc to your weight .
Your pregnancy is a precious one needing close monitoring. you need to keep a balanced diet with pregnancy support medication and a medicine that keeps your blood thin but i don\'t think it would be right to prescribe these medications on this platform. you also need to get your baseline investigations done alongwith testing for diabetes and monitor blood pressure at home. if you blood pressure is 140/90 or more at any two occasions, you\'ll need to start antihypertensives then.
Follow dr faiza rafique advice , she has written very precisely n guided you well . LMP kia hai ? Serum beta HCG krwaya ?

Assalamualaikum Doctor,
Mam, patient is around 30 days pregnant. She is currently taking Loprin 75 mg and Folic Acid as prescribed.
However, she is experiencing frequent headaches, and sometimes her blood pressure goes up to around 140 (even before pregnancy she had mild BP issues, but currently it is a bit concerning). Other reports including CBC and thyroid are normal.
Kindly advise:
Should she continue Loprin 75 mg and Folic Acid, and for how long?
Do we need any adjustment or additional medication due to BP and headaches?
Is a physical check-up required at this stage?
Thank you.

Another doctor has advised us to continue Duphaston 10 mg, Clexane, and Loprin together. They suggested continuing these for about 3 months.
Kindly confirm whether these three medicines should actually be continued for 3 months, or if any changes are required.
Thank you.

Could you kindly also tell me how long Loprin 75 mg and Folic Acid should be continued?
In addition, she has frequent headaches, and her blood pressure sometimes goes up to 140. In this situation, is there any special precaution or need for additional medication?
Also, please guide regarding the timing of these medicines and any important precautions during their use.
