Urgent advice needed: I’m in my first trimester and need TB screening for a visa application with a deadline of 2nd June. Is a chest X-ray considered safe at this stage if proper abdominal shielding (lead protection) is used and consent is given? If not recommended, what is the safest and fastest alternative TB test available in pregnancy that can meet visa requirements?
