Asking for Father, Male, 65 years old, Islamabad
My father was diagnosed with COPD by a doctor and was also treated for anemia about 3 years ago at the Polyclinic Hospital Medical Ward. At that time, his hemoglobin level was significantly low, and he received a transfusion of 3 units of blood. He was treated with medications including Leflox, Sangobion, and Risek along with IV drips, after which his condition improved and he was discharged in stable condition.
Currently, he is again experiencing similar symptoms, including severe shortness of breath even with minimal activity, marked pallor (very pale appearance) with noticeable whiteness in the eyes, poor appetite, and inability to eat or drink properly. He is also having a productive cough with sputum. His condition appears to be deteriorating and is concerning for possible recurrence or exacerbation of COPD and anemia, what should i do aur to whom consult for this
