Asking for Self, Male, 37 years old, Tando adam
I am a 37-year-old married man and a father of two daughters. For a long time, I have been suffering from recurrent mouth ulcers (canker sores) every 1–2 months. Initially, they would heal on their own after some time. However, recently, their frequency has increased significantly, they persist for a longer duration, and their size has also been increasing.
Whenever I consult a doctor, I am prescribed PPIs (antacids), painkillers, Daktarin oral gel, and Betnesol (betamethasone) soluble tablets for oral gargles. While this treatment temporarily resolves the ulcers, they keep recurring. I would like to highlight that I rarely eat outside food and do not consume spicy food, yet this issue persists.
Additionally, I have started developing small, light-yellow spots/bumps inside my mouth. Initially, they were few, but now they have gradually spread throughout my oral cavity, including my tongue.
I need expert advice on what could be causing this chronic recurrence and which specialist doctor I should consult for a proper diagnosis and permanent solution."
