Asking for Father, Male, 57 years old, Karachi
My Father has pain in his lower abdomen. Doctor recommend him ultra sound, but his reports are almost ok as per the doctor. but he also recommend him biopsy and Cystoscopy. Please advise that this is this curable with medicine or not? Below are the attached reports. He is taking the following medicines. Nospa Augmentan Ponstan Forte Caflam Tamsolin
if he is on urethral catheter.. catheter removal trial can be given after giving tamsulosin for 5 days atleast.. if after that he again develops urinary retention then he may need surgical treatment for his Prostate..otherwise he can continue with cap tamsulosin as long as he remains symptom free or satisfied without catheter
no need for any bippsy and cystoscopy at the moment. . avoid Nospa ponstan forte..
