Asking for Self, Male, 18 years old, Lahore
I used to have post-micturition dribbling (PMD) and I started to do Kegel exercises. I have been doing them for about a month, but recently I've started noticing what feels like stress incontinence, with more leakage during physical activity. I also feel that my pelvic-floor muscles have become more tense, and my hip area feels quite tight.
Interestingly, when I wear underwear, the leakage seems minimal, but when I don't, I notice more leakage. I'm concerned that I may be over-tightening or incorrectly using my pelvic-floor muscles with the Kegels.
Could the Kegel exercises or increased pelvic-floor tension be contributing to these new symptoms? Should I continue the Kegels, reduce them, or focus on pelvic-floor relaxation instead? And could the hip tightness be related?
