Assalamo Alaikum, First of all don't loose hope.
For infertility, work up of both partners should be done,side by side.
Regarding male partner, a good detailed sexual history with semen analysis repeated at least 2 times is essential before any  treatment.
In semen analysis we have to look for 3 parameters which are Count, shape and motility and by doing life style changes, behaviour changes and certain drugs, each one of these patameters can be improved, provided testes retain ability and response to hormone triggers.
