My 09 Years Old son has both undeveloped testicles. Doctors noticed that they are not developing as per age. Doctors performed ORCHIOPEXY because Right testis was in INGUINAL CANAL one month ago. Now the problem is development of Testicles. Please Suggest relevant Doctor. Urologist Or Endocrinologist. Is the treatment possible. Can he become a proper male?

Undescended testes need treatment on an early basis as testes need to be in the scrotum for their proper growth and development.
The problem with undescended testis is that there is a small risk of cancer development in undescended testes at a later age.
With orcidopexy, testes are brought down to the scrotum using special techniques, so as to make it possible to enable testicular self examination. In that case, if there is any transformation at later age, they can be palpated, identified at an early stage and treated promptly.

You need to consult a Pediatric Urologist, Pediatric Surgeon or an adult urologist if others are not available.
