I have neurogenic bladder and I'm using a catheter but it's irritating me now as it can't be used for a long time. I have heard that there's another way to pass the catheter through the abdomen. is it safe and can be used for a long time?
yes, its called supra pubic cystostomy. its pretty safe, where we use ultrasound guidance to make a puncture in urinary bladder & then a catheter is placed in bladder.
yes go for it. it's better than the per Urethral catheterization
