My mother has been facing a disease since many years. Due to limited facilities in our city, we are unable to do treatment properly (Unavailability for related doctor). So, I explored the disease on Internet by the symptoms, appeared on my mother's legs and I came to know that it could be CHRONIC VENOUS INSUFFICIENCY, my mother facing with. My mother feels very pain in her legs and even she is usually unable to stand. Mostly, when weather is cold then she feels much pain and blue colored veins have appeared on her legs, foots and also it seems to have clots in her legs.

Looking at the pictures, it is unlikely to be chronic venous insufficiency as there are no skin changes. These are testicular veins on legs which are usually cosmetic. Clots in legs can be diagnosed with duplex scan but in pictures there may s no evidence of that. I would recommend venous duplex, use compression stockings but more importantly check and replace Vit D.
