Talk to Vascular Surgeon on Dvt After Csection

Asking for Self, Female, 27 years old, Rwp

Got dvt after second csection in oct 2024, been on xarelto from 17 months, still partially recanalized from march 2025 no further improvement, it was extensive dvt from femoral to iliac. All thrombophilia profile is negative.. What should i do, should i stay on xarelto for life time or will i ever achieve full canalization of blocked vein, please guide

100% recanalisation never happen important is what treatment have you taken in the initial phase and more what’s the clinical improvement. Xarelto don’t need to be taken life long if clotting profile is normal only TED Stockings should be used
