Asking for Self, Male, 35 years old, Lahore

I have little swelling in my leg, if I stand long time. No pain, no other symptom. My ultrasound report : - - The deep veins of both lower limbs are patent and compressible with normal color flow without obvious reflux or DVT seen. - There is reflux seen in bilateral great saphenous veins at the level of mid thigh. - Dilated bilateral varicose veins seen particularly at the medial aspect of both legs, with dilated ( more than 3 mm) perforator vein seen at anteromedical aspect of the mid-legs reflux seen suggestive of pathologic dilated perforator vein.

My doctor suggest me Laser EVLA for both legs. As I don't have much problem. If I leave it as it is, there will be any risk. Kindly give advice.

w.s.
in your particular case, doppler guided foam sclerotherapy is the best treatment.
evla will not solve the perforator disease.

vericose veins enlarge and can complicate over time. its better to get treated with ultrasound guided foam sclerotherapy. its a day care procedure , awake surgery and patient is discharged home on same day.
