Prolexa tablet uses include treating major depression, generalized anxiety disorder, and social anxiety. It contains Escitalopram, a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) that works by increasing serotonin levels in the brain to improve mood and reduce anxiety.

Your doctor might give you Prolexa Tablet for:

Prolexa Tablet Dosage and Administration

Elderly Dosage:

  • Starting dose: 5mg once daily; maximum 10mg daily.

How to Take:
