Seborrheic dermatitis is a persistent form of eczema that most commonly affects the scalp but can also appear on the face, back, and upper chest. Dandruff, redness, and scaly spots are all symptoms of seborrheic dermatitis. When a baby develops this condition, it is called a Crib Cap. It usually emerges within the first few weeks of a child's life and then fade away over several weeks or months.
