Dr. Humaira Achakzai is Consultant Physician with special interest in Diabetes and Rheumatology and Associate Professor and Focal Person for Undergraduate RMI Education wing. She is CPSP supervisor of General Medicine for postgraduate with keen interest in research and many original publications to her name.
Qualifications:
She has done MBBS from Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad and FCPS Medicine from College of Physicians & Surgeons Pakistan.
Experience:
Dr. Humaira comes from army medicine background with 10 years of service in Army Medical Corps remaining a high achieving officer, topping the basic military training course. She has served as InCharge of Cardiac ICU and Family wing at CMH Peshawar, travelled to many remote areas to care for underprivileged women and children, and eventually retired as a young Major in the interest of her family and moved to the civil side.
