Talk to Andrologist on Androgenic Alopecia

I have a problem of androgenic alopecia that is causing hair fall, and I also have a lot of dandruff. So, can I use minoxidil to stop hair fall? Once the hair fall reduces a bit, I'll try to get rid of the dandruff as well. My main concern is that can I use monoxidil to stop my current hair fall position without having any side effects as I have dandruff? if yes then please recommend the monoxidil usage and process.
