Talk to Andrologist on Azoospermia And Vericocele

My husband has azoospermia and vericocele as docs said that first we will do biopsy to observe sperms and then we will do surgery for vericocele. I have 2 questions 1. Does biopsy and other surgery will shrink testicle size? 2. What if we dont go for biopsy and do vericocele surgery at once?? As biopsy will only find sperm presence .. Please give suggestions, we are too confused.
