Penis Burning

Question

While sleeping at night, I feel intense burning in my penis along with a urine sensation. I usually go to the washroom, release the urine but it releases with a burning effect. This burning effect remains for 10-15 minutes after urination and then fades away gradually. This does not happen in the daytime. It always happens when I get to sleep.

Burning Micturition or \"jalan wala urine\" is a sign that urine ph has changed due to infection,dehydration,diet,strenous activity,excessive meat consumption or holding of urine for long period of time. For all these we have to start with a detailed history including and excluding all risk factors i have mentioned above. After history, if needed ,few tests would be advised for clear diagnosis.
