it can only be controlled with modification in daily life activities and progress can be slowed. book an appointment so i can see what is aggravating your pain and make amends to with no. surgical techniques. if the disease allows. if the disease is in its last stage then surgical option which would be tailored to u can be discussed

Contrary to some answers you may find from Doctors, unfortunately arthritis caused by the breakdown of cartilage cannot be cured. Cartilage does not have a blood supply, hence inabilty to cure. it can be treated and the progression can be slowed down through lifestyle changes, bracing or if required, surgery .

There are different types of Arthritis with the most common being
*Osteoarthritis
*Rheumatoid Arthritis

You should have blood tests/X rays to confirm the type of Arthritis and the joint space it is affecting.

there are excellent knee braces available which utilise 3 point pressures to open the respective joint space and reduce pain.
