Talk to Dermatologist on Rabies Scare

A kitten and a mother has been living outside our house for a while now. The kitten could have been around 2-3months old. The kitten went into my Car engine space and when i picked it up fom the car engine area to put it outside, It scratcrad my hand. There was no bleeding, and the scratch, "was minor i think. I observed the kitten and its mother for 7 days. But on the 8th or 9th day the kitten suddenly disappeared. Maybe it got in the car again and went somewhere with the car or got killed by other cats in the neighbour hood. The Mother cat is still around 12 Days later. Long story short, I have been freaking out about rabies. Any suggestions?
