Hello, I am 22 female. From a very young age my lips are very dark. My skin color is not very tan. My skin color is good but my lips are dark. From a very young age, i was into lipsticks. I used to apply dark shades of lipsticks from a very young age. I don't apply dark shades anymore. But I have to apply light pink tints to hide dark lips. I am so much into complex bcz of my lips. What should I do? I have tried so many things nothing happens. Please help... i am drinking enough water.
Wearing a lipstick which is not of good quality and has harsh chemicals can darken your lips. Please try to use lipstick which are of good quality and wear it for little time. Till we all are home bound you can use some natural remedies like mix few drops of rose water with honey and apply for few hours daily. Make a lip scrub by mixing sugar in olive oil and apply. Keep your lips moisturised with Vaseline or lip balm. Drink lots of water to maintain hydration. You can also use liplex cream on lips twice daily to lighten lips.
If you have a habit of running your tongue on the lips to moisten them, then stop doing that because saliva could be the cause of dark lips. Keep on applying WPJ to your lips several times a day. Do not apply medicine. That will make the matter worse.
