Asking for Self, Female, 33 years old, Lahore

Assalamualaikum. As taking Retinol (Vit A) is prohibited during breastfeeding. So i am also not supposed to use a facial cream, containing Retinol as main ingredient? Or i can apply a Retinol cream while i am breastfeeding? Please advise. Because i want to use a Ratinol cream on my face, but i am not using it because i am breastfeeding my newborn. I need your advice on it. JazakAllah.

Although absorption of retinol from skin is minimal ... still its not considered safe during lactation... u can use benzoyl peroxide gel (benclin gel) instead....
