Talk to Dermatologist on Dermatology

My daughter aged 12 is having a very severe rash on her inner thigh, along with 2-3 small dot like bumps on her legs. the rash started out as itching and scaly type skin. Interestingly, I am also observing the same symptoms on my inner thigh area. however, I am taking precaution by applying lotion and anti-fungus cream. Can any dr guide me what can this be possibly that we are both having the same issue.
