Talk to Dermatologist on Dry Patch Face
Asking for Self Female 28 , Karachi
27 weeks pregnant, have a small dry patch on left cheek with a small pimple above it. noticing for around 1-2 weeks. the patch is slightly red, raised and itchy. it's dry, a bit scaly edges.
Picture is attached, kindly suggest if it's eczema or fungal and if any medicine (topical) I need to use and can safely do in pregnancy.

Seems fungal. Apply clotrimazole ointment twice a day for two weeks
The dry, itchy, red patch with scaly edges is likely to be eczema rather than fungal. Use a mild, pregnancy-safe moisturizer and a topical corticosteroid like hydrocortisone cream (low potency) for a short duration. Avoid antifungals unless prescribed, and keep the area clean and dry. ?
