Dry Skin On The Upper Back

Question

Assalam o Alaikum, I had recently been feeling my back and it felt very dry I thought it's (garmi danay) although it isn't painful nor itchy, today i asked my mom to check and then she told me i had these dry patches on my upper back only and no where else. These don't hurt, nor itch, nor bleed and they arent red too my skin is just really sensitive so the redness on the skin maybe because of the shirt. I have been applying vaseline (petroleum jelly) on it. However i want to know what this is? and any lotion or ointment for this.
