use blend emollient or physiogel moisturizer for dryness but it's better to examine the patient 1st to confirm the diagnosis
only for short period of use ...it's safe.
keep baby skin moisturise do not use soap for his bath or use soap free.
The dermatologist whom u visited was the best judge for ur child. if u visited him....u still don't trust him ? if he has given steroid it must be required by the baby. topical steroids are safe to use if used for a small period of time.

Definitely I trust him but as baby is wuite small and he said himself its a simple dryness no need of concern but still recommended tropical steroids. As I read steroids are not good and should be taken as a last resort.

No it is not cradle cap as it is not on his head it is on the forehead and nose and it causes peeling of skin when ever we moisturise it.
