My son is 2years old. When he was 4months of age almost develop some rushes on face and then on legs.. Dr prescribed fusicort cream for that purpose. After one year he has severe dryness itching redness in patches that oozes blood when at extreme on all over legs and on arm from elbow till hand. And also develop ring below belly near pant belt area.. That allergy ring grows cause itchesness and some times blood oozes.. Since one year visit dr and use medicine that include fusicort, travacort, hydrozole, canestan, cutipro. Along with moustrizers vaseline johnsons lotions and oiling also but no effect.. So my question is that it is inherited from mother due to dehydration during pregnancy..or some family history of allergy like asthma cause it..? What its cure?? Pic attached..its just area and these scaly patches are on overall legs and arms
this looks like atopic dermatitis. this tends to run prolonged course with relapses and need to be controlled by patient education. its importsnt to learn to control it and mother should visit with child for consultation.

it seems to be fungal and it is not transmitted from Mom to baby. better to consult doc, don't forget it's contagious
