My mother is experiencing extremely severe hair fall. She’s in her perimenopausal phase but has no other known medical conditions. The hair loss is so intense that even gently touching her hair results in dozens, sometimes hundreds of strands coming out. It’s horrifying—just one pass of the comb, and the floor looks like we’ve shaved someone’s head.
This is not just “more than usual” shedding. This is extreme to the point where the entire house is constantly covered in hair, and we’re struggling

get ur mother to see a dermatologist in person for a detailed hx n exam
investigate her CBC and thyroid profile to find the cause
she needs to be examined properly with complete history and lab investigations for the treatment of cause.
give her tab priorin 1+1 for 3 months n maxhair shampoo on hair shampoo on alternate day n anagrow hair serum subua sham for 3 months
Hair fall, hair shedding and hair thinning can happen during perimenopause or menopause due to hormonal fluctuations. Additionally deficiency of certain vital nutrients/vitamins can also add on to it and create havoc. The best is to also get her blood tests done for cbc iron vit D ferritin b12 thyroid profile. Get her examined by a dermatologist for PRP/PRF sessions and some topical treatment.
